Camping Filament (formerly La Pommeraie) is located south of the Cevennes National Park, in a pleasant environment next to a river.
The campsite is near the bamboo forest of Anduze, the steam train from St Jean du Gard and next to the Salindrenque, a tributary of the Gardon. This river is safe to play in for kids and great for fishing and relaxing. The valley of the river has a very varied vegetation due to a microclimate favorable to the southern part of the Cevennes: official guides describe it as the "small French Switzerland", perhaps because of the presence of cows and castles.
The campground has a swimming pool and water slides and private access to the river.
Also at your disposal: swimming pools, shop, bar, restaurant, fun activities for children and adults during the day and evening, kids club (during high season), jeu de boules pitch, tennis, table tennis and archery. There are numerous excursions and walks possible. Visit the bamboo forest, the steam train, the desert museum, the cave of Trabuc, the Pont du Gard, the aquarium of St Jean du Gard, the Préhistorama, the Haribo museum and the stalactite cave Aven d'Orgnac.
